Triple H is gearing up for WWE WrestleMania 39 in California, which marks his debut as the Chief Content Officer and the Creative Head of the company. For quite some time now, The Game has reportedly wanted to introduce a new World Championship belt, which could be on the verge of getting introduced in front of the public eyes around the biggest premium live event of the year.
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated the former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in the main event of Wrestlemania 38 Night Two to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion as he unified both the two top world titles of the company. This was a huge blunder made by the former creative head, Vince McMahon as he didn’t have any follow-up plans after the dual championship introduction.
“I Was Completely Shocked; I Had Tears In My Eyes,” Latest WWE Hall Of Fame 2023 Inductee
With Triple H in charge of the WWE creative team, he wanted to resolve the problem by introducing two separate world title belts, possibly around Wrestlemania 39. Making those rumors true, WrestleVotes suggest that a new WWE World Championship Title belt has already been created.
The belt has already been approved by the WWE officials which makes us certain that the belt will be made public just after Wrestlemania 39 passes by,
“There’s a new belt. I don’t know for sure if it’s getting a new name. I don’t know if one of the titles is going away, but there’s a new belt that WWE has had made and the decision-makers have approved.
Like, if they wanted to introduce it on TV tomorrow, they could. Those boxes are checked.” (quotes courtesy GiveMeSport)

Undisputed WWE Universal title to be defended at Wrestlemania 39
At this point, this Sunday night at WrestleMania 39 – Night Two Main Event, Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. The undisputed title is the only top world championship belt present in the WWE rather than having two separate champions on Raw and Smackdown.
In an additional update from BeltFanDan, the traditional World Heavyweight Championship was previously pitched as the replacement for the Universal Championship, last year but it’s not clear whether the plan has been kept similar as we head toward Wrestlemania 39,
“I heard the Big Gold was pitched as Universal replacement + Vince wanted a new unified belt for WrestleMania 40.”
Triple H was reportedly not in favor of retaining the Universal Championship belt introduced in 2016. Rather, the previous World Heavyweight Championship belt is said to be a good option to replace the belt. But first, the undisputed belt needs to be retired and it could happen as soon as we’re done with the Wrestlemania 39 festivities.
