Targeting WrestleMania 39, WWE has a lot of plans in motion, and they are going forward with those to make the show an occasion to remember, forever. Possibly being the final edition under the Triple H-McMahon regime, they will be pulling out all the stops by presenting all the star power they could afford. However, The Goddess of the WWE may or may not be on the show.
It appears that WWE might have needed to scrap one WrestleMania 39 moment featuring Alexa Bliss which could have surely been garnering attention. The former champion is going to be in Los Angeles for the biggest weekend of the year to be a part of the festivities. The former champion confirmed the news on Twitter by saying that she will do anything more than just sit backstage or at catering.
WWE Raw: Alexa Bliss Doesn’t Care About Going Beyond On-Screen Character
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE previously had some plans for Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 39. But in changed circumstances, it’s unclear whether things will happen in that creative direction or not. The report also noted that she was slated to have some kind of interactions with Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy as a follow-up from what transpired at Royal Rumble.
Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt were scheduled to be WrestleMania 39
But since none of these characters were barely seen on TV on the Road to WrestleMania 39, plans could have been changed. Here’s what the source had to offer regarding the situation,
“Bliss is scheduled to be in Los Angeles for Mania. Whether she’s just part of activities there or does an appearance on the show is unknown. At one point she was scheduled to be part of the segment with Wyatt and Uncle Howdy but that was well back and Wyatt’s situation has changed since then.”
Alexa Bliss was recently seen on TV as a participant on The Masked Singer show and she did have a blast. A time away from the WWE admittedly helped her to get refreshed. Only time will tell whether she returns at WrestleMania 39 as a part of Bray Wyatt and his stable alongside Uncle Howdy those were in full force in the early part of this year.
But then Bray Wyatt disappeared from WWE television, and the company stopped plugging his WrestleMania 39 appearance altogether. The official match card didn’t mention his matchup against Bobby Lashley or any other segment. Bobby Lashley was booked in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal after that match got scrapped.
