WrestleMania 39 gathered the biggest stars under the WWE banner from the past and present to offer up the best of the card for the fans who come to the United States from all over the world. While regular superstars are always looking forward to securing a spot at the Show of Shows, celebrities like John Cena and Logan Paul had also taken out time out from their busy schedules to be a part of the grandeur.
John Cena faces Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. The 16-time World Champion wasn’t the only WWE Legend looking to make waves around this time. WWE Hall of Famer Edge was going up against Finn Balor inside Hell in a Cell while his ex-flame Lita returned to action alongside her tag partner, a mainstay name Becky Lynch.
It’s great to see Lita performing in the ring and competing in a championship match at WrestleMania 39. However, this wasn’t the original planning around her and she never had the plans to be back in action around this time of the year.

Lita said her recent run in WWE wasn’t planned
While speaking to Adrian Hernandez of The Bet 98.5 HD2 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Lita revealed that her current run in WWE wasn’t something that was in the works for some time but in fact, it came out of the blue. She was rather busy exploring other aspects of her life when the call came before WrestleMania 39,
“[It] was not on my radar in the most remote possibility. And that is exactly when opportunities come like this. [I don’t] stay in the ring training constantly, [but] if you don’t think about it, it will happen. If you stay prepared, that’s a way to not get the call.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Lita found an unexpected ally in Becky Lynch en route to WrestleMania 39
With Becky Lynch feuding with Damage CTRL on her, the former WWE Women’s Champion came to the aid of The Man and sent Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY despite not seeing eye to eye with her. Then, the duo ended up capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with help from her best buddy and fellow Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Then, these two sides collided in a six-woman tag team contest at WrestleMania 39.

Lita previously accepted during an appearance on WWE’s The Bump on this run will help her fulfill one of the things on wishlist. The four-time WWE Women’s Champion said she always had the intention of elevating the status WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, which was introduced in early 2019. Things were stale around the title for some time, legit but with Becky and Lita carrying the belt heading into WrestleMania 39, the prestige had certainly been upped.
