According to a recent rumor doing rounds on social media, Becky Lynch and LA Knight were romantically involved at some point in their career. Given the stardom of the WWE Women’s Superstar, many believed that LA lost a gem to have in a real-life scenario. Knight has now come forward to squash these rumors with a statement of his own. Setting the record straight via a comment on a photo posted on Twitter, the 40-year-old superstar made it clear that he never dated Becky Lynch and that the two were just friends.

On the Road to Wrestlemania 39, the team of Lita and Becky Lynch defeated DAMAGE CTRL members IYO SKY and Dakota Kai to become new women’s tag team champions. These came as a result of unprecedented help from WWE Hal of Famer Trish Stratus. The trio was eventually booked in a six-woman tag match against the DAMAGE CTRL trio.
LA Knight seemed to have been in touch with Becky Lynch in her early days in the WWE and when he was yet to enter the company. He made a significant impression during his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. Following his entry to the main roster, he was initially introduced as Max Dupri but ultimately, went back to his previous gimmick.
