The returning WWE Champion in his house of Smackdown Live was the opener of last night’s show from Phoenix.
He was good as always with the mic, and it turned out to be pretty funny. But, then Baron Corbin showing and delivering a dull promo was not suitable for the moment. Even after Owens appeared, it failed to impress the crowd. So, the opener of the night was pretty low.
Pretty weak opener tonight, the writers really tried to cram in too much with AJ Styles tonight, Baron Corbin also came off really weak on the mic, Corbin is just super hit and miss these days #SDLive

The opening match managed to make it up to a certain extent with two veteran in-ring workers competing in the match.
The match was a bit slow but picked up the pace during the finish. Sami Zayn coming out to distract was a rushed decision which ruined the day for Ziggler who was supposed to keep the momentum by his side.
The women’s tag team match turned out to be an okay type one. Sarah Logan is still incapable of coming up with good in-ring works that hurt the calibre of her opponents, too. But, the chaotic end did help to build the excitement for the women’s division matchup. It was good to see The Riott Squad get a win which they can use for the title picture.
Pretty good six woman tag tonight, Sarah Logan still completely stinks in the ring, it got a little chaotic towards the end, but it built to a quick finish #SDLive

The booking in the United States Championship picture was good, too since it managed to be unpredictable, for weeks now. The scenario of putting both Orton and Mahal into this context was pretty good.
Meanwhile, The New Day won the tag team contender’s spot to set up the umpteenth matchup against The Usos.
Really good main event tonight between AJ Styles and Baron Corbin, Corbin was able to have some really powerful looking offense with the impressive aerobatics of Styles #SDLive

The finishing match on Smackdown Live between AJ Styles and Baron Corbin was a back-and-forth contest. Both men took their opponents to the limit before the outcome. The aftermath happening was even more interesting, as Corbin gained the upper hand by counter-attacking the resistance put by Owens and Zayn. He stood tall to end this week’s Smackdown which turned out to be an average show.
Overall, a pretty average effort tonight, the in-ring action was very solid, #WWE sure does seem very lazy with the writing of this show when it comes to the talking segments, those just dragged like no other #SDLive

Becky Lynch doesn’t need any type of gimmick to get over with the crowd, she doesn’t need all this glow crap to get over with the crowd, she is simply Becky Fucking Lynch. Too bad someone in the back obviously has something against her. #SDLive
