The Usos are back on the winning track at WWE Backlash 2023 in time for their Tribal Chief’s return, this Friday night on Smackdown. Not only they have pinned the tag champs at the bygone PLE but they’ve also clinched a unique record by participating in the show, last night. Thus, the absence of their Tribal Chief didn’t make any difference, after all.
At WWE Backlash 2023, The Bloodline (The Usos and Solo Sikoa) was scheduled to take on Matt Riddle and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a six-man tag team match.

Heading into the show, the WWE Stats account gave interesting info regarding this match. Apparently, the sons of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi made history at WWE backlash 2023 as they were the first siblings since the 90s to participate in a tag team match on a WWE pay-per-view event,
“What do The Bloodline and The Hart family have in common? Only once in WWE has there been a PPV tag team match that features 3+ siblings (and no other partners). It was Survivor Series 1993; the Harts. At Backlash, The Usos & Solo Sikoa join them on this list.”

WWE Backlash 2023: Rift within The Bloodline seems wide open?
Heading into WWE Backlash 2023, it has been teased on several occasions that Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa might possibly turn on Jimmy and Jey Uso, especially after dropping their tag team titles to Owens and Zayn at Wrestlemania 39.
During the go-home WWE Backlash 2023 edition of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa also warned The Usos that they better do their part in the tag team match. During the match, Solo laid out Owens with a Samoan Spike after taking out Zayn. Solo then almost nailed Jey with the Samoan Spike which angered Jey. Moments later, Solo finished the match by hitting Riddle with another Samoan Spike.
This angle should continue on the post-WWE Backlash 2023 episode of Smackdown, this week when The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns will return to WWE’s TV, where he is expected to begin his next feud for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. While nothing is confirmed, his next title defense should be against the former WWE Champion AJ Styles at Night of Champions 2023.
