With a lifetime main event on the card, 2016 edition of WWE Battleground looks like a worthy one with other exciting match ups. But, considering that the biggest pay-per-view of the summer is following the suit, it is going to be filler one. The former Shield members will compete in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship. The current titleholder will defend the title against his former brethren, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. The winner will walk into the new era of WWE on either Raw or Smackdown as the undisputed champion. Since we are now aware of all the scheduled matches for the July 24th PPV, let’s take a look to those as to know what’s coming on Sunday.
The New Day vs. The Wyatt family
The rivalry between these two factions has been quite amazing. The audience is loving it too. They were engaged in a disturbing battle in the Wyatt family compound. We have not heard from the new Day, since then. With, Xavier Woods has not been the funny guy almost going hypnotized by the Wyatts, the split for the New Day is on the horizon and we pick the Wyatt family to win the tag team title. This will help Bray Wyatt keeping his momentum going on the blue brand.
