WWE is going all out to set up a stacked up card for Money in the Bank aka MITB PPV.

The last outing on the WWE Network was a failure. The Backlash PPV was unable to garner the required attention. The critics crowned it to be the worst PPV event in a long time. So, the creative team does not want to repeat the earlier mistakes.

There will be two ladder matches for the MITB contract. We now have another championship match on the card after this week’s Smackdown Live. The tag team champions from the blue brand now have their next opponents. They pledged to get new challenges for the last few weeks.

So, WWE Smackdown announced a number contender’s match on the Worcester edition of the show. The Usos received another opportunity against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. It was their first chance to get to the title picture after coming to Tuesday Nights, and they capitalised fully on it.

Both the teams seemed more than ready after cutting promos with the mic, before the match. The match was extremely physical where Gallows delivered a superkick to Uso before tagging to Anderson.

The duo then hit the Magic Killer to become the new contenders for the Smackdown tag team titles. They will now challenge the Bludgeon Brothers at the MITB PPV event.

This fresh matchup is not the only exciting thing from Smackdown. We will receive a huge six-man tag team match after what transpired in this week’s episode.

The Miz opened things with Miz TV. The New Day were his special guests. This segment set up a match between Big E and the Miz. The Bar interfered in this contest allowing the heel star to win the match.

But, the babyface trio will get another chance to seek retribution to the three of them. It is now official The New Day will face The Miz and The Bar in a match with huge implications.

Both these teams have MITB contestants under their wings. So, they will try to pick up a win to gain some momentums before the ladder match.
