This past edition of WWE Smackdown Live has changed the course for the Clash of Champions PPV with multiple alterations on the card.
Previously, multiple title matches got confirmed to take place at the last dual brand PPV of the year which will be hosted on December 17th in Boston, Massachusetts. Two of the lineups got altered alongside a big-time main event to hype up the upcoming show.
The Smackdown women’s championship was one of them. It got altered to a huge extent that might change the outcome of the title bout. As per the earlier announcement, a rematch was scheduled between Charlotte Flair and Natalya Neidhart at the PPV event continuing their bitter rivalry.

The Queen had become a five-time women’s champion by taking away the title from The Queen of Harts just before the Survivor Series PPV. A rematch took place on Smackdown, a couple of weeks ago but that never ended properly due to the interference by the Riott Squad. Now, the rematch will get contested in a lumberjack capacity.
The scenario came out in a backstage segment on this week’s show. Carmella, Lana, Tamina were not happy to see this feud continuing on the show for a long time that is keeping them away from the title picture for a long time, now. The Riott Squad was also present at the scene making it a heated one, as all them started shouting.
