Booker T joined the commentary table on WWE Raw starting from April 2016. The original team was supposed to be comprised of Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and David Otunga. But, the latter one was not available at that point which is why the veteran superstar joined the team to call down the actions on a weekly basis.

He was said to be present on the show on a temporary basis. But, the stint continued as being a Hall of Famer, he can be an attraction on the TV.

Also, his takes on certain topics do matter a lot in most of the times which is why the officials decided him to retain. Due to this, he was removed from the kick-off panels prior to PPV events.

That was until the Royal Rumble weekend when WWE announced that Booker T was removed from the commentary panel.

As per his replacement, WWE named Jonathon Coachman who started to fill in from January 29th onwards. He was a veteran announcer from the Ruthless Aggression Era who singed back with the WWE after back onboard for WWE Raw 25th anniversary.

Meanwhile, a supposed conflict between two commentators might be the reason behind Booker T’s removal.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently opened up about the potential reason owing to which he had to step down from the commentary ring.

Corey Grave is the supposed one who is behind this decision as WWE officials thought that he would beat up Graves after threatening his colleague on T’s own podcast.

In a recent edition of Heated Discussions, the former world champion stated that Graves is at his best while being on commentary throwing jabs to him.

Booker T did not step back while throwing back jabs of his own questioning Graves’ education. The situation got ugly in recent times which is why the legendary name was removed from the panel.

Check out the words from Booker T, here:

“He’s the reason that I’m not on Monday Night Raw right now. A lot of people in the company thought I was going to jump on him, I was going to do something bad to him, I was going to drag him, I was going to take him out to the woods and beat that man so bad, I was going to beat this man until he said, “Please, please, just don’t beat me anymore.” That’s how hot I was getting.”

Hopefully, the absence of Booker will not affect the show since The Coach is back on the commentary making it up for him. Also, T will be doing the kick-off shows for PPVs which means he still remains with the company.
