It is a known fact to the pro-wrestling fans that Brock Lesnar is the biggest box-office attraction present not only in the WWE but also around the entire pro-wrestling industry. Ever since coming back to the WWE back in 2012, he was treated in a special way that made him a special attraction in the company.

He continued to work only a very few dates in an entire year. But, whenever he wrestled in a calendar year, the show becomes a must-watch for the fans. They know with the beast incarnate competing in the show, there should be something very special reserved in the contest.

Being the very best marquee attraction in the company makes him the top earner, as well.

Forbes.com reported that the reigning Universal Champion continued to feature on the top of the list when it comes to the highest earning WWE superstars.

Lesnar dethroned John Cena from the top spot a couple of years ago and retained his position in the year 2017, as well.

Carrying the Universal Championship for the better part of 2017 made his earnings even easier.

According to the source, Brock Lesnar made a mind-boggling amount of $923000, per match that he competed in the bygone year. He competed in 13 matches all over the year including the house show performances that earned him around $12 million, in combined.

The source pointed out the incredible figure achieved by the Conqueror despite working as per his part-time schedule in the WWE where he only appeared around his match dates.

Sometimes, even a pre-taped video message was more than enough to cover up his absence. This certainly indicates his dominance as a WWE superstar for the past few years.

Going by the report, John Cena is the second highest person in the list who earned $8 million from the year whereas Triple H and Roman Reigns reserved the third and fourth spot.

Forbes also predicted that Braun Strowman will emerge as one of the highest paid wrestlers by the end of 2018 with the following updates,

“Judging by the success he’s had in 2017 as well as his recent babyface turn, Strowman figures to be a consistent main eventer, a future world champion and a much better merchandise mover in 2018, which means he’s likely to replace Kane, Undertaker and Show not only as WWE’s resident monster but as its highest-paid behemoth as well.”
