And, we have finally heard an update on ace wrestler BrockLesnar in WWE programming. WWE Raw General Manager Stephanie McMahon informed Kurt Angle about the next Universal title defense over the phone.

So, he came out on WWE Raw to let us know about the same. He did not exactly spill out though when the beast is going to come back on WWE TV programming.

The WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle further assured us Lesnar will be back to defend his Universal Championship. But the management could not decide who the next opponent is going to be for him. The authority figure seemed in real awe while speaking this.

None other than Roman Reigns came out to confront the GM on the show. He considers himself to be the front-runner in the list.

Furthermore, Lesnar did not pin him ethically to retain the title at Greatest Royal Rumble event. It was Reigns, who escaped the steel cage first. Hence, he is the ‘uncrowned Universal Champion’.

Bobby Lashley also came down to the ring on WWE Raw. He thinks himself to be a pretty valid name for the race of Universal Championship.

Moreover, Lashley is dominating everyone ever since coming back to the company and deserves to get an opportunity to the prime title held by Lesnar.

On the other hand, Kurt Angle announced a multi-men contender’s match will take place at Extreme Rules. The exact number of participants are yet to be disclosed on the show. But WWE.com released a graphic hinting that we might get six participants in the match.

Here’s an update from WWE’s official website on this match,

“At WWE Extreme Rules, several Superstars will battle to see who will be next to challenge Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Angle confirmed that Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley will be a part the multi-man bout, and more competitors will be named in the coming weeks on Monday Night Raw,” WWE suggested.

It is likely that some of the prime names from WWE Raw will get the opportunity at Extreme Rules.

Also, the next set of names should consist the likes of Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Bobby Roode, Drew McIntyre or even Seth Rollins.

Baron Corbin would be special mention on this context. He is under special supervision under the guidance of Stephanie. This week’s WWE Raw main event also witnessed him pulling off a huge victory.

It eventually means that big push is coming on his way. So he should participate in the contest that declares the next challenger for Brock Lesnar.
