WWE promoted the 25th anniversary of Monday Night WWE Raw as the biggest episode of the entire history of the program. With multiple legendary names re-appearing on this auspicious occasion, we expected this one to be an extravaganza for the fans. But, after the night, most of the fans were disappointed as to how the whole show was executed.

According to many, the opening and the finishing segments were the only savers for the evening. Stone Cold returned in the first segment to raise some hell over Vince McMahon recreating his rivalry against The Boss.

In the last one, Brock Lesnar recuperated from a massive assault by Braun Strowman and sought redemption. However, it was Strowman who stood tall to end the night.

Meanwhile, most of the other segments were not up to the mark and there are some reasons for it. As reported by stillrealtous.com, multiple script changes during the evening was a concrete cause of it.

Whenever WWE comes up with a televised show, multiple writers work for it in the backstage pitching the plan. If it gets changed on short notice, the superstars get into trouble while delivering it on live TV.

The first problem occurred with Enzo Amore who was actually fired on the location of WWE Raw at the Barclays Center.

According to the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He did not let know his issues with the sexual allegation to the officials until they came to know about it on the social media.

Taking him out of the show caused multiple changes to the script on an instant basis. According to Bryan Alvarez from the Observer, Enzo was the one who had a segment with the DX.

“Here’s the deal, first off that was supposed to be Enzo. I did talk to another person yesterday that said that. Enzo was supposed to get all of DX’s finishers but he was fired.”

Later, The Revival turned out to be the one taking all the gunshots from the veterans. Another thing changed on the show was the Peep Show hosted by Christian.

Originally, it was about to take place at the Manhattan Center but later it was shifted to the Barclays Center. As reported by PWInsider.com, the host was let known about it just prior to the show.

There were some miscommunications with the Undertaker’s appearance, as well. He could not suit well with the small capacity of the Manhattan Center and delivered a quite confusing promo.
