WWE Clash of Champions 2016: Women’s championship match results 1

WWE Clash of Champions has seen its first outing from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the first brand-specific PPV held by the flagship show in WWE i.e. WWE Raw. Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley promised to upstage the blue brand by delivering the prime matches in the WWE prior to the PPV. Such a match was stored for the night in the name of the triple threat championship match for the Raw Women’s title.

Charlotte defended her title against both Sasha Banks and Bayley. In the era of Women’s revolution, we were bound to see an epic match from these three members of the NXT’s four horsewomen and we got one at Clash of Champions. However, the prediction said that Charlotte will escape by any means with the championship at the end of the night.

It was every woman for herself in between the match. The two friends Bayley and Sasha put the champion outside the ring and go right after one another to get the pinfall. The champ came back to the contest. After a hard fought contest among all of the three Charlotte pinned Bayley to retain the Raw Women’s championship.
