WWE Clash of Champions: Rollins vs. Owens title match result 1

It was the first ever Clash of Champions PPV in the history of WWE history. This name was brought from the original WCW PPV “Clash of the Champions” to set up the event in Indianapolis, IN. The main event was all set between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. It is worthy to mention that these two colliding inside the ring is an instant hit because these two has been in the Indi scenes for a long time before coming into the WWE.

So as expected, both of them got a huge reception from the Indi crowd. While we did expect to walk out Owens retaining his title, we hoped to see Triple H back, too at Clash of Champions. He’s been not seen since the time he handed Owens the championship. Since Rollins is turning into a babyface, we expected a show-up from Triple h to cement that.Prior to the match, both Foley and Stephanie wished Rollins good luck. Rollins said he didn’t need luck and he will prove tonight that Triple H chose a wrong guy as the title-holder.

The stage is all set at the Clash of Champions as Seth Rollins came out first for the universal championship match. Owens made his entracne saying that he is the main event.

The champ came up with all that he had to punish Rollins from the get going. In addition his buddy Jericho was out in the arena o distract Rollins. Rollins connected with a pedigree to Owens but the referee was down. Meanwhile, Stephanie sent another referee to the ring. But Owens delivered a pop up powerbomb to retain his title at Clash of Champions PPV. The question still remains did Stephanie intentionally screwed Rollins?
