Apart from the Clash of Champions event in Columbus, WWE is set to return to the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 10 for a live SmackDown episode. It was recently reported that WWE had multiple set dates for potential events at The Garden but nothing was set in stone as of last week. Now the September 10 date has been locked in.
WWE usually conducts shows in MSG for their annual post-Christmas non-televised live event on December 26, but there’s no update whether that show will be happening. The last time a Raw and SmackDown television show went down at the MSG was in September of 2019, before Clash of Champions. Stone Cold Steve Austin was in attendance on Raw while The Undertaker was present on SmackDown. It should be noted that WWE resumes touring on July 16 with a live SmackDown from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
