Becky Lynch will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Crown Jewel 2021 while the RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair isn’t booked for any match on the show. The popular belief is that The Queen will be in attendance for the PPV who could also be inserted into the Triple Threat to make it a fatal-4-way.

Charlotte Flair got involved in the three-way feud for the Smackdown Women’s Title in the past couple of weeks leading to a potential involvement for the PPV match. But according to a report by Fightful Select, that won’t be the case as the twelve-time Women’s Champion didn’t travel to Saudi Arabia with her fellow female wrestlers,
“Based on those we’ve spoken to, she has not been listed internally for the show, and was not seen by several we asked who traveled to Saudi Arabia.”
Involving Charlotte Flair in the match doesn’t make any sense as she’s already the reigning Raw Women’s Champion. Following the shift to Smackdown during Draft 2021, she’s slated to begin a new era on the blue brand from this Friday night onward.
In more news for WWE Crown Jewel 2021, it has been announced that SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos will face Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander on the Kickoff Pre-Show, tonight. The tag titles won’t be on the line since this one will be a non-title bout.
