In the main event of WWE Crown Jewel 2022, Roman Reigns defeated Logan Paul to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Heading into the premium live event, betting odds and predictions indicated that there was no way that the celebrity YouTuber was going to beat the top WWE Star for the prestigious titles and he wasn’t capable of doing so in the first place.
During the entire buildup for this match at Crown Jewel 2022, Logan talked about how it will take one lucky shot to knock out Roman in order to win the match. However, all the stunts and help from his brother Jake Paul weren’t enough for the Social Media Superstar to pull off the shocker.

Logan Paul impressed WWE Universe at Crown Jewel 2022
The match headlining the WWE Crown Jewel 2022 premium live event featured Paul doing some basic moves before starting to impress the fans with some incredible high-flying moves. Logan hit Roman with a Crossbody on the outside off the top of the barricade and then followed up with AEW star Hangman Page’s Buckshot Lariat finisher for a close pinfall attempt.
Logan also laid out Roman with his own version of the Superman Punch to stun Roman Reigns. He continued the assault with a Crossbody and a standing Moonsault, but Roman kicked out. Ultimately, The Usos came out after Roman was put through a table but this also led Jake Paul to come out to rescue his brother. However, the chaos that ensued at ringside appeared to be costly for the challenger.
Taking advantage of the ringside brawl, Roman connected with a Superman Punch followed by his pendant Spear to get the pinfall win. He celebrated with The Bloodline to close out Crown Jewel 2022 as pyros exploded all over the Mrsool Park in Saudi Arabia. The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship was safe in its home, after all.
That being said, only the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships changed hands at Crown Jewel 2022. At this time, Roman Reigns is slated to headline Survivor Series 2022, the next premium live event set for late November.
