Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton
The main show of Crown Jewel opened with Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton. The latter took early control by stomping on Rey. But the high flyer countered with a springboard cross-body block. He delivered a wheelbarrow bulldog followed with a 619. Orton dropped him with a DDT but Mysterio came up with a roll-up for the win. After the match, Orton hit Mysterio with an RKO and hurt him sending ribs-first into the commentary table.
Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz
Hardy started the match hitting a mule kick on Miz who came back with some YES kicks. Hardy connected with an inverted atomic drop and a low dropkick for a two count. He hit the Whisper in the Wind and went for the Twist of Fate. But The Miz pushed him away. The fight continued at outside where Hardy hit Miz with a clothesline from the barricade. Miz reversed a Twist of Fate with a Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
