With Daniel Bryan getting cleared for in-ring competition, WWE will get more options to create some big matches.

After remaining out of action for the last three years, the most popular superstar of this generation is hungrier than ever and ready to generate some fresh matchups that have never happened in the WWE. One such moment occurred on last night’s Smackdown Live.

The night started with Shane McMahon informing us that Bryan is no more the general manager of Smackdown Live.

In addition, Paige was hired in his spot whereas it was noted that the former GM is back in a full-time wrestling capacity.

With that being said, it was announced that the leader of the YES movement will take on the Phenomenal One in a dream match.

Previously, these two shared the ring in independent circuits. But they have never crossed paths in the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the company.

This was going to be a one-of-a-kind match where two of the very bests from this generation will be competing to reign supreme on each other.

The main event delivered to a big extent with both men pulling out all the stops. Furthermore, this was the first time that Daniel Bryan was seen wrestling on Smackdown Live after 2015.

It was the same post-Wrestlemania 31 night of the show where he teamed up with John Cena in his very last match before retirement.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was looking forward to putting AJ Styles away by setting up a Tree of Woe and connecting with some kicks.

A top rope move was about to be delivered when Shinsuke Nakamura spoiled everything by attacking both the men.

Due to this sudden attack, the match was instantly disqualified and we did not see any proper outcome of it.

Moreover, this would help to continue the AJ Styles-Nakamura rivalry as we head towards the Backlash PPV event.

Furthermore, this impromptu match between AJ and Daniel might have been announced since one of them will be traded to WWE Raw during the superstar shakeup on this upcoming Monday Night.

Most probably, Daniel Bryan is moving to the flagship show.
