Daniel Bryan was absent from last week’s episode of Smackdown Live. But, he will be simultaneously working on a limited number of televised episodes as per the current contract.
So, the fans could not witness the prime attraction of the blue brand. Earlier, he was there on the show when the taping was over. The local fans in attendance witnessed him in a dark segment.
Bryan also appeared in a fallout video on WWE.com after Smackdown Live. It was an interview for the insult that he received from Big Cass earlier that night.
The seven-footer Cass took the rivalry against Bryan to a much personal level these days. Hence, he could not resist from commenting negatively towards the former GM of the show.
Those comments affected Bryan the least. He came up with a strong promo to give it back to his Money in the Bank opponent. This man has overcome a mountain while returning to in-ring competition.
WWE doctors forced him to retire but he managed to come back in full force in this year’s Wrestlemania. Nothing is going to stop him now from securing the main event spotlight.

A Smackdown superstar was not happy to hear all of these from Bryan. His name is Shelton Benjamin. This man returned to the WWE back in last year. He tweeted it out taking a shot to the leader of YES movement.
Benjamin has no less experience as he travelled all over the world to win multiple championships. He is no less than a veteran superstar in the pro-wrestling business.
Interestingly, this is the reason why superstars call him the ‘Golden Standard’.
Now he will get a chance to prove about his caliber after boasting on Twitter. Smackdown has now sanctioned a singles competition between these two veteran talents.
Hard to argue with @WWEDanielBryan about @BigCassWWE ..but the being a hard worker rant? GIVE me a break!?I’ve worked for companies & won champions around the globe. Not enough to just be “good” on #SDLive https://t.co/nFBmSBSfFZ

Check out the updates from WWE.com to confirm Daniel Bryan vs. Shelton Benjamin,
“Benjamin will get the chance to back up his feelings tomorrow night, as Paige has placed him in a match against the leader of The “Yes!” Movement. Can Bryan shift his focus from Big Cass and deal with the mat maven, or will Benjamin prove that Bryan’s talk was just that? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE at 8/7 C on USA!”
