WWE Day 1 will kick things off in a unique way for the top-most professional wrestling company in the world. For the first time in its history, WWE will be hosting a pay-per-view event on the very first night of a year. Plus, a new chronology in WWE PPV will begin as the tradition of TLC in December, gets extinct.

In 2022, Royal Rumble will be the second PPV event in the WWE calendar in the same month of January meaning that WWE Day 1 will have a direct impact on the Big-Four event.

As per the schedule, WWE Day 1 falls on January 1, 2022, emanating from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. As always, Peacock Network will stream the event live in the United States, while WWE Network will be in charge of broadcasting the show in other parts of the world.
