The injury bug is continuing to hunt down the WWE roster. It started way back in the middle of the last year and it is continuing on both the superstars and Divas division. This one is extremely unfortunate as she was about to get a huge push in the women’s division, as reports earlier.
The recent call up from the NXT division, Emma has suffered a back injury in a live event according to a post on WWE’s official website. Emma was found with a ruptured disc is her back which has the potential to be a serious injury. The Diva herself posted a tweet to let us know that she would require a surgery to fix her back and the surgery will take place on Wednesday. The report too had stated that Emma will have to undergo surgery for healing up and so we will not see her present in the TV tapings.
I’m pretty gutted about my injury, and of course, the timing! But all the love and support going into surgery Wednesday helps. Thanks! #RAW

The official statement on wwe.com is as follows:
“Emma has a ruptured disc that will require her to have surgery,” WWE doctor Chris Robinson said in the release. “She came to us in a great deal of pain, which seemed to be increasing. She was then given an M.R.I., which revealed that further action would need to be taken.”
The news just came after it was reported that Emma along with her debutante partner Dana Brooke was about to get a huge push and become a top heel in the Women’s Division. Team BAD members Tamina and Naomi both are out of action following their injury and EnD was supposed to act as their fillers but plans had to be changed due to the injury.
With Emma got shelved, Dana has to carry the heelish acts on her own. She already picked two straight up wins toppling the Irish Lass Kicker Becky Lynch. Hopefully, Emma can recover quickly to join her teammate as early as possible. Fellow women’s performer Summer Rae, who was also on Emma’s team at WrestleMania showed sympathy to Emma on the injury news.
Sad to see my girl have surgery but glad your doing it to get better! Gonna miss you @EmmaWWE, hurry back! https://t.co/xF1gJL2e69
