In a latest Twitter discussion, the former WWE Women’s champion Victoria had given us hints of her returning in the squared circle as part of the Smackdown Live. The Diva has a decent run with the championship in the past and was mostly attached to the blue brand of the WWE. So, as reported by JBL during Smackdown, Victoria may be the one amongst the veterans who may look for a return.
Vitoria, real name Lisa Marie Varon, had her last match in WWE on Smackdown in the year 2009 against Michelle McCool. After getting done with WWE, Victoria had a successful run in TNA Knockout promotions. While her fans were discussing her role in today’s WWE, she liked the idea of announcing a new Women’s championship for Smackdown Live and hinted a return.
Smackdown on Tuesday is gonna be really cool if you’re a fan of @REALLiSAMARiE… Just saying….

As of now, the former champion is out of the limelight and runs her own restaurant, The Squared Circle. Though, no such returns were seen on last week’s Smcakdown Live, the above tweets suggest that there are some big returns coming up in near future.
It was also previously reported that Melina, a former WWE Divas champion is also going to return to the company. With that being said the rumors of a new championship for the women’s division becomes inevitable.
According to Pro-wrestling sheet, WWE has already planned for the championship on the blue brand. Confirming the news the Smackdown General Manager, Daniel Bryan appeared on the Bear Hug it Out Podcast and said Smackdown, too will come up with new championships. They don’t want to ruin Sasha Banks’ moment, as of now. They will take their time to slowly build their own Women’s division and then introduce the championship. Here’s what he had to offer:
“It’s great to have the only REAL world championship. I’m not against them creating the title. We are gonna do that for the women for SmackDown Live. But, we are taking our time with it to make sure that we do it right.”
