Brock Lesnar was present during the Night One of WWE Draft 2021 and he’s become a free agent who can make appearances on both Raw and Smackdown, as per his wish. This appears to be a cunning strategy by the WWE as they can use the marquee attraction on both their flagship programs, moving forward.
Night One of WWE Draft 2021 edition of SmackDown on FOX saw Brock Lesnar confronting WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman in the ring. The moment happened right after Reigns was picked as the first overall draft pick by the blue brand.
A brawl broke out in the ring between the two superstars that led SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos to rush to the ring. Lesnar took both the tag champs out with German suplexes and a pair of F5s as Reigns watched from the ramp with Heyman.
Then in a backstage interview, Brock Lesnar informed the host Kayla Braxton (alongside new Smackdown Superstar Jeff Hardy) that he is now a free agent on WWE Draft 2021, thanks to his “good friend” Heyman. The Beast also mentioned that since he is a free agent, he can do whatever he wants.

Brock Lesnar remains undrafted in WWE Draft 2021
WWE Draft 2021 rules state the following for a free agent:
* Any un-drafted Superstars after Monday will automatically become free agents, free to sign with any brand of their choosing
Brock Lesnar referring to Heyman as his ‘good friend’ made Roman Reigns frustrated who yelled at Heyman in a backstage segment. Reigns then ordered Heyman to visit Monday’s WWE Draft 2021 Night 2 edition of RAW from Nashville, Tennessee to make sure that his cousins The Usos are also drafted to SmackDown. Reigns also advised The Usos to go to RAW with Heyman to overlook things and confirm themselves as Smackdown superstars.
As WWE Draft 2021 continued the builds for Lesnar vs. Reigns, these two superstars are booked at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 21. No confirmed update is available on what WWE has planned for Lesnar since he’s become a free agent. The situation around him could change around the PPV and especially if he becomes the new Universal Champion on that night.
