WWE Extreme Rules 2017: Full Match Card With Predictions 1

Tonight, we will witness the 2017 edition of the Extreme Rules PPV. This will be the ninth one in the Extreme Rules series since the beginning in the year 2008. The audience loves this particular gimmick with added stipulations in every match. This year, the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland will be the host of the PPV.

The fatal-five-way match for crowning a new number one contender for the Universal Championship will be the main event of the night. The match is being promoted as the one which is set to change the course of this new era. Five of the best competitors from WWE Raw will be a part of it. Plus, there are a plethora of more interesting matches. Check out the entire list with predictions:

Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz (Intercontinental Championship, title can change hands via disqualification)

The fact that The Miz can win the championship via disqualification is a clear advantage for him. He will try every means possible to get the champion disqualified. Elias Samson should be the one to get the job done for him after he attacks Miz returning the favour. In order, Ambrose will be disqualified and lose the title.

The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus-Cesaro (Raw Tag team Championship, Steel Cage Match)

This one is going to steal the show. All of these four are comfortable in a dangerous environment like these and would tear each other apart. In the end, it should be Sheamus & Cesaro to become the new tag team champions.

Neville vs. Austin Aries (Submission match for the Cruiserweight Championship)

The reigning champion has been holding the title for almost five months now. It’s time for a change. So, after a brutal battle, Austin Aries should submit the King of cruiserweights to become the new champion.

Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss (Kendo Stick on a Pole match for the Raw women’s championship)

Considering Alexa has just won the title in the previous PPV, chances are less that she would lose it, so early. She is on top of her game, every single week winning the crowd. So, there’s no way that she is going to lose this one.

Rich Swann & Sasha Banks vs. Noam Dar & Alicia Fox

This one was arranged to get some spotlight on the Cruiserweight division. The audience will be least interested in the contest. Sasha should pick up the win on her team’s behalf in order to make her entry to the championship storyline.

Fatal-5-way match to determine number one contender for the Universal Championship

For the first time ever, a fatal-5-way match will be the main event of a PPV. The competitors of this match will live up to the name of Extreme Rules by every means possible. In the end, it will be either Seth Rollins or Finn Balor who will emerge as the new number one contender to challenge none other than Brock Lesnar.
