The final stop prior to Wrestlemania 35 is almost upon us on tomorrow night. Fastlane has become an annual tradition to set up the final match card for the biggest event of the year. WWE kept that intact by bringing the fifth installment of the pay-per-view event on the WWE Network. It is coming up with eight official matches on the card which is a stacked one.

Will a heel-turn happen at Fastlane?
Two main event matches are on the card, one from the women’s division and the other a tag team match from the men’s division. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will go to war to cause a potential change on the Wrestlemania match card. The other big attraction from the night is the reunification of The Shield who is perhaps competing for one last time in the WWE. Also, multiple other titles will be on the line on this night.

All of these will be in-store when Fastlane airs on the WWE Network from 5.30 AM onwards, tomorrow night. Catch the repeat telecast of the show on Sony Ten 1 Network on 6 PM that takes place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Here are the predictions from the PPV night.
Kick-off show Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade
Prediction: This match has taken entry into the Fastlane match card without any hype. After going through with a number of encounters, this one should put a culmination to the rivalry. The whole point to put on this feud was to establish Andrade as a singles competitor. So we can expect the new Mexican sensation to pick up a huge in order to secure a Wrestlemania spotlight.
Triple Threat for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships
Ricochet and Aleister Black vs. Chad Gable and Bobby Roode vs. The Revival (c)
Prediction: The young lads are likely to steal the show at Fastlane putting on a high-paced match. The two NXT superstars will bring on high-flying actions to garner attention from the crowd. At this point, the tag team division needs this very much to prove their relevance. We don’t expect to see a title change at Fastlane in this scenario since Revival has not held the title for a long timespan.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Match
Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley (c)
Prediction: Hypes around the inaugural women’s tag team championships exist no more as we move to Fastlane. Sasha Banks and Bayley does not have the momentums due to poor bookings, once again. This matchup does not have enough storyline to raise the interests of the fans. The Boss n Hug Connection is likely to get a big match at Wrestlemania and hence will retain the title against the behemoths.
SmackDown Tag Team Championships Match
Shane McMahon and The Miz vs. The Usos (c)
Prediction: The Usos have just won back the tag team titles at Elimination Chamber eyeing Wrestlemania. WWE must have huge plans around these two veterans for the biggest event of the year that ensures a loss for the challengers. A heel-turn is likely to happen which could surprise the crowd in attendance. Either one of Shane McMahon or The Miz will switch character to start a feud of their own at the biggest event of the year.
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Mandy Rose vs. Asuka (c)
Prediction: Asuka deserves much better in her championship reign than facing Mandy Rose at Fastlane. Her title reign has already become lackluster due to irregular booking. It is certain that the Empress of Tomorrow will head into Wrestlemania 35 with the title around her waist. The question is how dominant she would look while defending the title against the Golden Goddess. This could turn out to be a squash match in favor of the champion.
WWE Championship Match
Kevin Owens vs. Daniel Bryan (c)
Prediction: WWE does have a plan with Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston for Wrestlemania 35. So this match is just a filler one at Fastlane inserting Kevin Owens into the equation. The challenger has tried hard to transition into his new role of being a babyface. He would try to win the WWE title by any means but Rowan’s interference could cause him big-time. The number-games will ensure that Daniel Bryan continues his title reign until Wrestlemania 35.
Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
(Becky’s final chance to make it to Wrestlemania)
Prediction: WWE has always wanted to set up a three-way main event matchup for Wrestlemania 35. Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair are confirmed names for the marquee historic matchup on April 7th. Hence, Becky is coming out as the winner from this Fastlane match. She will deal with a lot of pain selling her fake injury. In the end, she will victimize The Queen in order to secure her spot at the biggest event of the year.
The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose) vs. Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley
Prediction: The Shield’s reunion is a nostalgia act for the fans which could come to an end at Fastlane. They are not the favorite to come out winners of the match as a huge twist could be waiting. Dean Ambrose is still in a volatile state of mind who would be the one to betray his stable-mates. This will be the reason behind the Hounds of Justice losing the match. Also, the seeds of a future Wrestlemania match between Ambrose and Reigns will be planted.
