FastLane 2021 is going to be the final stop before WrestleMania 37 and WWE is making arrangements to make the event an interesting one. Most of the matches will be held in a way so that the title matches at the Show of Shows remain uncertain. We have previously reported about a potential WWE Championship number-one contender’s match from the Raw brand.
Now, it seems that a major stipulation could be added to the rumored FastLane 2021 matchup. WWE RAW featured Sheamus vs Drew McIntyre in a No DQ contest. That match ended without and they will still be getting another opportunity to beat the hell out of each other in another such contest where there won’t really be any disqualification opportunity.
During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed that the current idea right now is to hold a Last Man Standing match at FastLane 2021. Thus, Drew McIntyre will have a tough task in hand to cement his spot at WrestleMania 37 in a WWE Title match,
“The working idea is now Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus at Fastlane.”

Fastlane 2021: Focus will be on Lashley vs McIntyre
Moving on from FastLane 2021, The Scottish Warrior’s destination will still be Bobby Lashley and the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37 which is garnering attention from the fans in recent times. Interestingly though, the WWE Title changed hands a few times in recent memory.
It was at Elimination Chamber when The Miz shocked the world by cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase and winning the WWE Title from Drew McIntyre. That celebration lasted for only eight days as Bobby Lashley captured the title before FastLane 2021. There is a reason why such quick title changes happened and The Miz was needed.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that wanted to put the title on The Miz even if for a very short time so that Bobby Lashley can win it and heads towards WrestleMania 37 against Drew McIntyre.
“It was a way to get the title on Lashley, that’s just what it was. They want Drew to be the challenger on the first night with fans. So, that’s the direction they went. They could have gone with someone else as a transitional champion, but the thing is when you’re a one-week champion it kinda makes you suck. So, you might as well do someone who you don’t portray as a main event guy.” (Transcription by Ringside News)
Thus, within a gap of just one week, The Miz and Bobby Lashley were able to capture the WWE Title. Now it seems that both these two won’t be competing at FastLane 2021 but will straight go at WrestleMania 37. Miz is expected to compete in a tag team match culminating a feud against Bad Bunny while Lashley vs McIntyre will be one of the main events of Mania.
