The pairing of Goldust and Mandy Rose in the WWE Mixed Match Challenge earned a huge attention from the fans. The gorgeous lady was a far better choice than Alicia Fox who was the actual partner for the head of the ‘shattered dream production’.
Most of the audience love to see more of the blonde Diva and they did enjoy a lot while enjoying this past week’s show.
This did a favor to the show’s ratings, as well. After the viewership was going down for two consecutive weeks, the fun pairing was the reason why it saw a growth, finally.
Meanwhile, the time that Goldust and Rose spent together was shared on the social media earning positive feedback from the fans, too.
The antics started with the Bizarre One proposing a dinner date to the beautiful woman in a unique way which was misunderstood.
Later, Mandy was seen teaching his partner how to pose in front of the camera. Their chemistry was too good to miss. Due to the matching in-ring gear colors, the team was named Rosegold, for good.
Despite all of these positive things, the team suffered a loss at the hands of Jimmy Uso and Naomi. This eliminated them from the entire tournament which is being hosted in a knockout way.
Following the loss, Goldust did comment in an interview on whether he will work together again or not.
Going by their words, the team might return in the near future. Mandy accepted that it was a big opportunity for her to work with the veteran.
Goldust then apologized to the member of the Absolution stating that how he let her down by losing the match. He also added that he was looking forward to this pairing since Mandy is so special. One day, she will be a huge star in this industry.
The interview was closed with Goldust willing to work more with the Golden Goddess. She received a golden rose from her partner, too and did acknowledge that this is definitely not a one-off appearance for this Mixed Match Challenge and should be back together.
Well, we would love to see this again since Goldust is so good while playing this flamboyant character.
