As reported earlier, WWE made a big change to their Pay-Per-View schedule as Hell In A Cell 2021 edition has been moved up. It is now confirmed to take place, Sunday, June 20 at the Thunderdome setup of WWE in the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The announcement came during the WrestleMania Backlash event, last Sunday Night which surprised the WWE Universe as this is an unusual time to host this show.
Originally, Money in the Bank was reported to go down in June which has now reportedly been pushed back for a month. That being said, Hell in a Cell 2021 could scrap out Extreme Rules from the schedule. But then again, it’s no lesser entertainment for the fans which comes with multiple matches inside the steel cage structure. The assumption is that three such matches will go down inside the cell, this year.

WWFOldSchool reports that just like last year, Hell in a Cell 2021 will also feature three Cell matches which could be as follows,
– Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship
– Bianca Belair (c) vs. Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship
– Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro
Three rematches set for WWE Hell in a Cell 2021
Bobby Lashley defeated Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match at Wrestlemania Backlash to retain his title but as seen on Raw, the feud is not over. In the main event of Raw, Kofi Kingston defeated WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in a non-title Open Challenge after Drew McIntyre caused a distraction. The Scottish Warrior also intended to go into a singles competition with Lashley, prior to that hinting that another match between the two is coming at Hell in a Cell 2021.
As seen in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 37, Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Sasha intended to go after the title but she was taken off TV to make an impactful comeback. Now perhaps is the time for her to make it happen so that she can claim that rematch at Hell in a Cell 2021.
Lastly, Seth Rollins destroyed Cesaro after the latter lost the Universal Title match to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania Backlash. This feud has to culminate in a big way which should be happening at the upcoming PPV, next month.
