The Prodigal Son’s winning streak since his return to the WWE continues following Hell in a Cell 2022. Cody Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins inside the Hell in a Cell structure, last night in the main event of WWE’s latest premium live event under the same gimmick name in a thrilling encounter. Rhodes’ win is being seen as a heroic instance since he was dealing with an injury heading into the match.
Drew McIntyre was rumored to replace Cody Rhodes in the scheduled main event of Hell in a Cell 2022 against Rollins. However, Rhodes came out and performed without being bothered about his health. On his way to this mammoth victory, he also paid homage to WWE Legend Triple H and possibly removed the controversial act in AEW when he destroyed Triple H’s throne with that same sledgehammer.
