Making all the predictions wrong, Becky Lynch is still your WWE Raw Women’s Champion following Hell in a Cell title match. The second-only match from WWE’s female division inside the cage structure took place last night to bring entertaining actions to the PPV. Sasha Banks tried to get an early advantage by attacking Lynch even before the match started. A vicious suplex followed on the ramp before she thudded Lynch onto the cage walls.

But the Raw women’s champion came back hitting a Bexploder on Sasha Banks with a Bexploder Suplex. Another such suplex followed on the top of a bed of chairs as Banks started fading. Becky Lynch locked in the Dis-Arm-Her on Banks, after this, forcing her to tap out of the submission. The Man stood tall at Hell in a Cell whereas the officials helped Banks on her way to the back.

The rivalry between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch over the WWE Raw women’s championship started following Summerslam. Banks returned from a hiatus to turn heel and take over the WWE Universe, just like that. She took the mean streak to a whole new level by coming up with several beatdowns on Natalya and Becky. The champion had to backfire to resist the heel antics that caused a matchup at Clash of Champions.

But the bad blood existing between the two of them did not allow them to finish the matchup with a proper outcome. Becky Lynch put her hands on the referee to disqualify the match. This allowed Sasha Banks to demand a rematch over the title. The fighting champion did not back down from the challenge and set up the match at Hell in a Cell (courtesy WWE.com)

“At WWE Hell in a Cell, The Man will come around to settle accounts with The Boss when Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch battles Sasha Banks in a WWE Clash of Champions rematch inside Hell in a Cell. If their last showdown is any indication, the dreaded structure could be the only way to contain the combined fury of the two bitter adversaries. Don’t miss when all Hell breaks loose at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Sunday, Oct. 6, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.”

In the end, it was still Becky Lynch who stood tall to end the second Hell in a Cell contest for the women’s division. It might be the end for Sasha Banks in the title picture, for now.
