WWE Rumour: John Cena to Return on Christmas Edition of Raw 1

For now, John Cena is quite busy promoting the new animation movie, Ferdinand where he will be lending his voice to the lead character of a bull.

The character has earned quite attentions on the social media sites and hopes to be a pretty good hit. But, wherever he is, his heart stays at his home in WWE.

Previous reports suggested that he will come back on a live event hosted by WWE Raw on December 26th and on live TV in the New Year’s show. WWE is advertising him for the special house show to take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York. It was supposed to be his much-anticipated return to the company for a full-time stint that will continue until the Wrestlemania 34 event.

But, as reported earlier, this is the first time that WWE will be hosting WWE Raw episodes for both Christmas and New Year. So, these two are going to be two special shows with multiple big appearances in it. As per the recent updates from WWE.com, John Cena will be amongst them to appear on the Christmas episode of WWE Raw.

The official website is promoting the WWE Raw Christmas edition with the Cenation Leader featuring in it suggesting he will be back onboard on that night. Other regular names like Kurt Angle, Kane, Sheamus, Cesaro, Alexa Bliss, Samoa Joe, The Miz, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns are also being advertised to appear on the show.

For back to back nights, WWE Raw and Smackdown will be hosted by the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois on December 25th and 26th. So, John Cena’s inclusion will definitely help the company to sell out some more tickets for the night. On Smackdown, too, Daniel Bryan was inserted to officiate a WWE Championship match to boost ticket-selling the night after Raw.

It is to be noted that The Miz is also being advertised for the Christmas edition of WWE Raw. It means he will be over with filming his part in the Marine 6 movie alongside Becky Lynch and Shawn Michaels. He was expected to be back before next year’s Royal Rumble but is looking for an early comeback.
