Braun Strowman, WWE Raw, Kane, Wrestlemania 34, Brock Lesnar,
Kane was injured during the fight

This week’s WWE Raw witnessed a brutal opening contest where Kane and Braun Strowman took on each other in a Last Man Standing match.

It was also the first qualifier for this year’s Elimination Chamber match that will determine the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 34.

Needless to say, that it was expected to be a slugfest between the two behemoths in a capacity where there was literally no disqualification. The only way to win the match was to put your opponent down for the referee’s ten-count.

Using this stipulation, the monster among men destroyed the big red machine. He bulldozed his way to the victory doing another inhuman deed.

After laying Kane down with chair-shots by the commentary table area, Strowman was looking for something to put his opponent down. After not finding anything proper, he did the unthinkable.

Not only, he toppled the announce table on top of Kane but also the entire part of the stage. This left the referee with no choice but to declare Kane as the winner of the match.

Meanwhile, being a human being, Kane was injured following this massive assault. He was completely unmoved from his position.

The medical team was called down to the arena as the demon’s body was taken to the nearby hospital with the help of a stretcher. Later, WWE.com came up with an update regarding his status which stated,

“The Big Red Machine had difficulty breathing following the incident and was rushed to a local medical facility. However, before Kane could be evaluated by medical personnel in the emergency room, he sat up on the examining table and crawled his way out of the medical facility. Kane has not been seen or heard from since.”

Although the angle was shown in a such a way where Kane was thought to be injured, legit, it is expected that it was just a storyline perspective to keep him off the WWE TV.

With this injury, this stint of the big red monster in the WWE might have come to an end. He put over Braun Strowman in a huge way as the new resident monster around the Raw roster. With this absence, there might not be room for the veteran at this year’s Wrestlemania card, as well.
