WWE will present the King of the Ring 2024 tournament as part of the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring premium live event scheduled for next month in Saudi Arabia. The process of beginning the tourney with a bunch of superstars has begun from this week’s Raw as three names declared themselves to be a part of this.
During the April 22 episode of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre, Gunther, and Xavier Woods were the three names who declared their entry into the King of the Ring 2024 tournament to determine the King of the Ring winner. In a hype-up segment aired for the tournament on Raw, it was noted that a series of matches is about to begin on the weekly programming of the WWE.
Drew McIntyre appeared in a promo on Raw to address the animosity toward CM Punk which didn’t make him the number-one contender for the world championship. Expressing his determination to refocus on his goals, McIntyre further revealed he’s entering the King of the Ring 2024 tournament. Sheamus intervened in the segment but the former winner didn’t mention anything about his participation.
