A viral clip was widely spread on the internet over the past few days to make Liv Morgan one of the most discussed persons in the pro wrestling circuit. She initially appeared to be sitting with a man who appeared to be flirting with her at Tuesday night’s New York Knicks game but that was not what it seemed. The WWE Superstar admitted in a new interview appearing in an interview session.
As noted above, Liv Morgan was seen on camera at the New York Knicks game, while that mystery person was chatting with her and she was even mentioned by the announcers during a break. Apparently, they were on a promotion spree to hype up the Road to WrestleMania 39 and the premium live event set for April.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion was never seen responding to the man as she was more focused on the game than listening to the man sitting next to her which produced more awkward moments. Talking about the viral clip, Liv Morgan stated the following while appearing on WWE’s The Bump on YouTube,
“What a bizarre moment. It’s so weird to me what goes viral and what doesn’t. I mean, first of all, I just want to say we had no idea that we were even being filmed. We had no idea that the camera was on us, which doesn’t excuse anything, but that is Justin Scalise who works here for WWE. He’s incredible. He was explaining something to me and I was watching the game and I was listening, but I was also kind of deep in my head thinking my own thoughts.”
Liv Morgan clarified the viral segment wasn’t how it was caught on camera
As you can see, Liv Morgan was identified to be as WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Justin Scalise who was the man to Liv Morgan’s ears. The clip led to a meme-fest as fans compared the scene to the “Man Talking to Woman At a Club,” which shows a man talking into a woman’s ear as she remains the least bothered with it.
Liv Morgan initially retweeted a video post from a Knicks blog on Twitter which throw a joke saying, “She definitely didn’t hear one word you just said bro.” She further continued having fun by sharing more memes on her timeline with different persons and outlets. The WWE official is also taking things lightly as admitted by Liv Morgan during the interview,
“My phone was like just blowing up and I just see this footage, and I just was like, ‘Oh my gosh, Justin, I’m so sorry.’ And he’s been such a great sport about it. It just was not what it looked like.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
It was Fightful Select who first identified the man to be Justin Scalise, WWE’s Senior Vice President Of Live Events to be with Liv Morgan. Thereafter, several professional wrestling personalities responded to the trending moment, including AEW’s Taz and former WWE Superstar Lance Storm.
