WWE Live Confirmed by Sony Pictures Network in December 1

As reported earlier the WWE is bringing back the India tour in the upcoming future. The official announcement remained pending, till date until Triple H landed in Mumbai to make this official. So, the confirmation finally arrived from both WWE and the broadcasting partner, Sony Pictures Network India.

According to the announcement, WWE Live will get hosted in the concluding month of 2017. On December 8th and 9th (Friday & Saturday), two consecutive house shows will get organised in Delhi. The Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium will be the host of the event. The ticket will be made available, soon with more declarations on WWE.com, shortly.

It is going to be a Raw brand-exclusive show where the major superstars from the red brand will be performing. Superstars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, The Miz, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley and more will be attending the tour.

To the much delight of the Indian fans, Jinder Mahal gets confirmed for the show. Despite being a Smackdown branded superstar, he will be joining the tour to perform in his home country. He sounded quite excited after his name got officially announced for the WWE Live tour in India.

Afterward, Jinder Mahal quoted the following to let know his gratitude,

“It is an honour to represent the people of India every time I step into the ring, and it will be a true privilege to perform for them live.”

The 16-time world champion and perhaps the most famous figure in India, John Cena might not attend the show considering that he is not expected to be back in the WWE until the Holiday Season.

There’s no confirmation yet whether the show will be broadcasted live on the Sony Ten Network or not. These live events are exclusive to the live audience and do not get telecasted. But, the Vice President and General Manager, WWE India, Sheetesh Srivastava was much excited while announcing the event and quoted the following:

“Following overwhelming demand from our massive and passionate fan base in India, we are excited to bring WWE LIVE back to New Delhi for two shows of spectacular, non-stop, family-friendly entertainment. I know our fans cannot wait to fill the Indira Gandhi Stadium and welcome back their favourite WWE Superstars.”
