Wrestlemania is treated as the biggest extravaganza to take place in the world of sports entertainment. The biggest storylines featuring the marquee players in the company is kept reserved for this event. Upon the conclusion of it, the creative kicks-off with some fresh storylines and angles for the superstars. It basically starts a new season on both Raw and Smackdown.
Previously, some of the reports suggested as of how would WWE like to go with the flagship show i.e. Monday Night Raw, Wrestlemania onwards. Now some major updates were given by the sources stating in which way the blue brand of the WWE would like to go along?
WWE hosts live events from both the brands in between Raw, Smackdown and the PPVs. The venues hosting those non-televised events always advertise the match line-ups of the evening, prior to the event to sell out tickets.
Recently, once such line up was revealed to give a brief hint of the upcoming feuds on the Smackdown roster. The match card for WWE Live on May 29th at the Macon Centerplex in Macon, Georgia is out. Check this out here:
AJ Styles vs. Luke Harper vs. Bray Wyatt
Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin
Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch
The Usos vs. Rhyno and Heath Slater
Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews
Natalya & Mickie James vs. Nikki Bella & Tamina Snuka.
As you can see above, AJ Styles will be included into the WWE title picture for the post-Wrestlemania season. Interestingly, Luke Harper is also going to be into the mix. It means that his singles push would be kept intact and he would perhaps hunt Randy Orton for the title.
Orton, on the other hand, is notably missing from the match card of the event possibly since WWE creative might not have finalized the rivalries for him. Also, two other big names that are of John Cena and the Miz are missing from the show indicating a potential hiatus for both of them.
