Going by the recent reports, Mark Henry is continuing playing hide-and-seek with the fans regarding his retirement. Over the years, he has teased his retirement from the WWE on numerous occasions.
When the fans thought it was inevitable, he bounced back only to make the fans fool. There was such storyline too involving him which earned him a shot to the WWE Championship, a few years ago.
Considering his age, it is best to go away from in-ring competition. He has already spent over two decades in the pro-wrestling circuit and is not likely to get one more run on TV.
Currently, he is on the Raw roster. Most of his contemporaries have gone on to take retirement and happy in their own life.
However, the ‘sexual chocolate’ is still not done with the company despite not getting a valiant role on the television.
In recent times, a rumor broke out suggesting that he has finally decided to take permanent hiatus from the squared circle. However, this time too, the news turned out to be a false one.
As reported by No DQ.com, the former world champion has no intention to go away from the squared circle, immediately.
While asked about the same, he delivered a positive answer stating that he has left plenty more left in him.
“I am not retired. There is still a lot I can do.”
The man who has the world’s strongest man tag with him proceeded to say that retirement would have been a better option for him, definitely.
At this stage of his life, his children and family want him to stay with them rather than traveling on the road with the company.
However, Mark Henry loves his work, too much that might have barred him from doing so.
“I love the WWE, I love the company, but I have two kids and they want me home. They want me to see their recitals and sporting events, and I want to see them grow and evolve. My dad didn’t live with me when I was growing up, and he missed so much. I am not going to repeat that.”
