WWE Monday Night Raw Five-Point Preview: December 5, 2016
Dec 5, 2016 at 5:04 PM
Sasha Banks is back in charge of the Raw women’s division after winning her third title last week. The rivalry is still far from over as WWE Raw rolls out this week from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. With just two weeks remaining for the last PPV of the year, we’ll see the match cards most likely to be set on this week’s WWE Raw. Here’s the preview of tonight’s edition:
Next Stop For Sasha Banks-Charlotte Flair
The internet is still buzzing with the blockbuster “Falls Count nowhere” match from last week’s WWE Raw. The most likely ‘Rivalry of the Year’ is still due with a rematch. So, the question is when it is going to take place. Will we get it early or at the Roadblock PPV? Considering that Charlotte is still undefeated at PPV and Sasha is unlikely to lose it at this time, the rematch is probably going to take place either this week or on next week’s WWE Raw.
Is It ‘End of the Line’ For Kevin Owens?
From the past few months, whenever Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens had a singles encounter, the Big Dog has always been on the winning side. Last week too, the big win earned him the opportunity for a title shot at WWE Roadblock. So, will we witness the same result at the PPV tagged as the End of the Line? From this point, Reigns will have to face the wrath of Jeri-KO to build up an intense rivalry.
Next Challenge For The New Day
It’s almost guaranteed the reigning Raw Tag Team champions will dethrone the previous reign of the Demolition (478 days). Will they receive another opponent for tonight’s WWE Raw or will it be reserved for WWE Roadblock PPV?
Sami Zayn’s Frustration To Continue
The tensions between Sami Zayn and the WWE Raw General Manager Mick Foley are high. During the last two editions of Raw, we saw Foley stopping the fight on behalf of the Canadian Superstar, making him furious. Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan is teasing Sami Zayn might be traded to Smackdown Live. He is extremely fond of the underutilized talent on Raw and the ongoing consequences might just result in the same. The serious confrontation between Foley and Zayn is likely to continue even tonight.

New Challenge For The New Cruiserweight Champion
Last Tuesday, after Smackdown Live, we crowned a new Cruiserweight champion on WWE Network in a brand new show, WWE 205 Live. The fun loving superstar, Rich Swann, will be in an even better mood with the title around his waist. But he’ll have to be careful from Brian Kendrick. He is always “a man with the plan” and can be vicious beyond thinking. Plus, he is entitled to a rematch.
