Money in the Bank 2022 from Las Vegas, Nevada marked the 13th event under the event chronology. A new Smackdown Women’s Champion was crowned after Liv Morgan successfully cashed in his newly won MITB ladder match contract while the Theory became the new Men’s MITB contract holder in the main event of the night.
Apart from lots of action that aired at the Money in the Bank 2022, event there were a couple of backstage segments, and several video packages and one of those left the pro wrestling universe talking. An eerie vignette aired that showed a person walking through a mysterious place and strange objects. WWE did not obviously disclose the identity of the person in that teaser.
WWE Money In The Bank 2022: John Cena Called Out By MITB Ladder Match Winner
Many of the fans believed that this vignette at Money in the Bank 2022 was eyed as a return for Bray Wyatt since there have been similarities to that of his leader of the Wyatt family days. Fans did take to Twitter to express their thought that Wyatt was finally coming back after getting suddenly released by WWE back in July 2021.

Money in the Bank 2022 teased return of a WWE Hall of Famer
However, according to Fightful Select, the working plan behind the vignettes from Money in the Bank 2022 was to represent Edge. There were references included in that video package to hint at the biggest opponents and even a former tag team partner in his best buddy.
The indicators noted were crosses for Edge’s best friend Christian, a gold medal for Kurt Angle, gloves, and glasses that referenced to the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz. Perhaps, these are all indications that the WWE Hall of Famer will be back on Raw following Money in the Bank 2022 with his Rated-R Superstar personality.
During the June 6 episode of Monday Night Raw, The Judgment Day faction turned on Edge and in the process recruited Finn Balor as their new member um leader.
After WWE teased that The Judgment Day would be adding a new member, the first-ever Universal Champion, Finn Balor came down to the ring intended to join the formerly Edge-led group. But then Damian Priest attacked Edge while Rhea Ripley and Balor joined in on the beatdown. The attack continued until Edge was put through the announce table. Since that attack Edge was absent on Raw throughout the Money in the Bank 2022 builds.
