The contents weren’t aired on the WWE Network but fans in attendance from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada could watch the footage from the dark segment.
After Money In The Bank 2022 went off the air, Smackdown superstar Happy Corbin attacked Smackdown commentator Pat McAfee to keep him down. Then Corbin celebrated with Mr. Money In The Bank Theory before the fans started to leave the arena. Also, after the attack, Corbin accepted McAfee’s challenge for a match at Summerslam 2022.

On the June 24 episode of WWE SmackDown. Pat McAfee stood atop the announce table and called out Corbin. During that segment, he challenged Corbin to a match at SummerSlam on July 30. Even before that week, he went on a rant against Corbin after which Wrestling Observer noted how WWE might have booked McAfee for a match at the biggest party of the summer,
“It felt watching it, I don’t know this, but it felt watching it like they’re going to do McAfee and Corbin at you know, like, maybe SummerSlam.”

McAfee vs. Corbin builds begin before Money in the Bank 2022
Then during the go-home episode of SmackDown for Money in the Bank 2022, McAfee mocked Corbin at ringside after Corbin lost the Fatal Four-Way Money in the Bank Qualifying Main Event Match. During that episode, Corbin also announced whether he was interested in accepting McAfee’s SummerSlam challenge.
During a backstage segment after winning a battle royal, Kayla Braxton asked Corbin about the match but he was speechless and left without mentioning anything. It’s unsure at this point whether WWE will air the after-PLE footage from Money in the Bank 2022 and officially announce McAfee vs. Corbin for Summerslam 2022.
At WrestleMania 38, Pat McAfee wrestled Vince McMahon and lost. But before that, he defeated the Money in the Bank 2022 ladder match winner Theory. Due to his entertaining performance, fans have been wondering when he would step into the ring again and that’s likely happening at Summerslam 2022. This would mark her overall fifth outing inside the squared circle.
