Money in The Bank 2022 will be presented in a possible bigger way as WWE intends to make this one the fifth biggest premium live event on their calendar. The company has recently partnered with On Location to offer travel packages so that it looks like one of their Big-Four PLEs. But for some unfortunate reasons the original venue won’t be hosting this event.
As per WWE’s confirmations, Money in the Bank 2022 will no longer be taking place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada but from a much smaller venue of MGM Grand Garden Arena in the same city. Apart from this change, there have been some major changes in the superstar appearances, too.
The original poster revealed for Money in the Bank 2022 included the likes of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Bobby Lashley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Kofi Kingston, Sasha Banks, and Drew McIntyre.

The revised graphic shows Riddle, Bianca, Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Rhea Ripley, and The Street Profits in the front. WWE changed out Kofi Kingston for Seth Rollins and McIntyre for AJ Styles. Also, Roman has been taken out of the equation. This absence of the top champion in the WWE comes for two straight PLEs after Hell in a Cell 2022.

Money in the Bank 2022 was forced to get shifted from the original venue
It was Brad Shepard who first informed that WWE was planning to move the Money in the Bank 2022 location to another venue in Las Vegas. It was noted that the date will not change, but the venue was reportedly getting swapped out which was further confirmed by the company in due course. More updates regarding the venue should be available from tonight’s Raw onwards.
The UFC will host a fight night on the same night at the T Mobile Arena on July 2nd and WWE’s Money in the Bank 2022 PLE is expected to run at the same time. However, updates claim that WWE may run their PLE at a different time slot given that they were outnumbered in ticket selling.
The Allegiant Stadium reportedly has a 50,000 capacity but WWE obviously toned down the numbers to make Money in the Bank 2022 a sell-out. When that didn’t work out, well, they were forced to shift the venue to MGM grand.
