Initially, six names each for the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank 2023 ladder matches were announced but things slightly got changed on this week’s Raw. Logan Paul made an appearance in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, and announced himself as the seventh participant of the upcoming opportunistic match. This also generated a lot of speculation about whether WWE’s creative plans have recently changed or not.

Money in the Bank 2023: WWE’s original plans didn’t change due to Logan Paul
To answer the question, PWInsider noted behind their paywall, that Logan Paul was always planned to be a part of the Money in the Bank 2023 Men’s Ladder match. His insertion into the match wasn’t a sudden instance on Raw and neither it caused any changes to the earlier plans regarding the winner.
“We’ve gotten a lot of emails from Elites asking for insight into the Money in the Bank winners and whether Logan Paul has changed any of those plans. We are told that the plan all along was for Paul to be featured in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and there were no creative changes.”
The source added that they haven’t heard any definitive plans for the Men’s Money in the Bank 2023 ladder match winner. But certain people from backstage are pushing for LA Knight to be the winner. From the get-go of the setup of the MITB ladder match, the Smackdown star was in the favorite’s position and he’s managed to keep his position intact.
However, given WWE’s tendency to alter plans at the very last minute, one just can’t assume the definite outcome of LA Knight’s win until and unless it occurs at Money in the Bank 2023.
