Following Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, WWE will now proceed to their next stop in the UK, Money in the Bank 2023. The Bloodline was once again the center of attention in Saudi and the story will progress eyeing another big match at the gimmick-based PLE waiting at the beginning of July.

Jimmy Uso was not seeing eye to eye with Roman Reigns for some time and he finally went loose on his own and turned on The Head of the Table, costing him the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles in the main event of Night of Champions. Now if the current updates are to go by then the good days for The Bloodline are over as they are set to compete against each other at Money in the Bank 2023.

In what appeared to be a major spoiler for the WWE Universe, the WRKD Wrestling Twitter account revealed the plans reserved for The Bloodline following what transpired at Night of Champions. WWE is reportedly planning a big tag team match for Money in the Bank 2023 featuring The Bloodline members,

“While plans are still taking shape, one idea discussed for Money In The Bank in London is Roman Reigns/Solo vs. The Usos, freeing up Roman for a title defense at SummerSlam.”

Big Money in the Bank 2023 tag team matchup was set up at Night of Champions

The groundwork for this feud within The Bloodline has been laid out at Night of Champions and it should culminate in the big tag team match at Money in the Bank 2023. In that case, Roman Reigns will also not be putting his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line in two back-to-back PPVs. It seems like Summerslam in early August will be the place to witness his next championship defense.

There’s no update on who could step up to Roman Reigns as the next challenger but if the current storyline is any indication then Jimmy Usos should be the one. At Night of Champions, The Usos first attacked Kevin Owens, and then they accidentally hit Solo with a double super kick. As Roman Reigns got involved, Jimmy Uso superkick-ed Roman right in the face to turn on him.

This was perhaps the tease that after the “main-event Jey Uso” shtick, WWE will also drag Jimmy Uso to the main event scene against Roman Reigns. For the time being, Roman is scheduled to celebrate his 1000-day title reign on this week’s Smackdown. He’s also being advertised to appear at Money in the Bank 2023 at the O2 Arena in London, England on July 2.
