The impact of Trish Stratus on WWE programming won’t be necessarily lessened heading into Money in the Bank 2023 premium live event. Last night on Raw, she tried to stop her current rival Becky Lynch from going into the upcoming MITB ladder match. At the same time, she also helped her ally, Zoey Stark to qualify for the opportunistic ladder match.
Over on Raw, a Money in the Bank 2023 qualifier was reserved where Natalya Neidhart took on one of the latest imports from NXT, Zoey Stark. After getting caught in the Sharpshooter, Stark was able to get to the ropes to break the submission hold. Then the fight continued outside when Stratus took a shot at Natalya’s knee when the referee wasn’t watching. Taking advantage, Stark was able to hit the Z-360 finisher to pick up the victory.
