WWE News: A Closed-Door Meeting Held To Prevent Private Media Leaks Of WWE Superstars

In recent times, WWE has been dealing with a major concern. A number of superstars, especially female ones have been victims of media hackers leading to those getting revealed on various internet platforms.

In most of them, the published pictures and videos were extremely personal contents featuring those superstars in compromising positions.

The tradition of the same started back in 2015 as Seth Rollins’ nude pictures were spread on the internet. But, this year, it has been up to a whole new level since the attackers have targeted a string of WWE female superstars making them the victims. Paige, Charlotte Flair, and Xavier Woods are amongst those from the current roster, whereas, Maria Kanellis, Victoria, Kaitlyn are those from the past number of superstars.

To encounter this problem, WWE conducted a meeting giving the superstars advice how to protect the private media on their phone and laptops. As per a report from, an expert in cyber security threat was called to meet both Raw and Smackdown superstars. His motive was to educate all the superstars present on the roster on how to keep their personal data, safely.

The source disclosed that in these meetings the expert has taught them not only how to protect the media contents but also to the possible threats that they might face in the future. They were also provided with the needed information as of who they can prevent to their private information from going public.

It was disclosed that most of the times the data leaks turned out to be as a result of using the USB devices. So, data transfers using this method should be stopped in unwanted manners. In western countries, the superstars are often offered with naked photos from beautiful women. The expert strictly advised not to connect their phone with the stranger’s device.

The superstars were further advised not to be trapped with phishing e-mails in their account since most of the times their ‘i-cloud’ was hacked, this manner.

Furthermore, they had to sign a new agreement with the company stating that they are agreeing with WWE’s updated social media agreement policy. It also stated that no one but the superstars will access their social media handles. This was a much-needed step for the WWE which might help them in order to prevent this type of attacks in near future.
