Dean Ambrose is irate at this moment after losing the Intercontinental Championship at the Extreme Rules PPV. He had to deal with the fear of getting disqualified for the entire match. The stipulation that if he gets disqualified, he will lose the title was added to the bout and The Miz took full advantage of it.
In the end, however, Miz was able to earn a clean pin via distraction. He shoved Ambrose to the referee to get him disqualified. As the Lunatic Fringe was pledging with the referee, The A-lister connected with the Skull Crushing Finale to pick up the win.
Now, this feud between Ambrose and the Miz has been going on since the beginning of this year. It started back when they belonged to Smackdown Live. They are at it, again after coming on Raw. So, it is unlikely that this feud will continue in the near future, as well. So, Ambrose will definitely receive a new opponent, officially.
Going by the recent happenings, it is quite clear that what next program waits for Dean Ambrose, going forward. This is going to be between Elias Samson and Ambrose for gaining the upper hand on the Raw roster.
As a result, we have seen these two taking shots at each other, physically. Samson was insulting the fans present at the arena for the second consecutive night. A livid Ambrose was in no mood to listen to the boring lines of the former NXT superstar. So, he decided to show up and unload on him.
This was a pure frustration from Ambrose’s perspective. He got disqualified by The Miz, two weeks ago in Samson’s debut match. This time, too, The Miz caused him in the brawl by creating the distraction.

With that being said, The Lunatic Fringe will be pretty busy in the upcoming weeks with a new opponent in Samson and the owing rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. It is expected that at the next PPV, Great Balls of Fire, a triple threat match will be contested for IC title. The Miz will have to defend it against both Samson and Dean Ambrose.
