WWE News: AJ Styles Spoke On The Club Vs. The Shield At Survivor Series

The Shield is back in the WWE after a long hiatus of three long years. For a long time now, the fans wanted to see the greatest faction in the WWE history back into the scene, but that did not happen until October 9th episode from Indianapolis. The trio of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins got along on the same page to seek vengeance on The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro and Braun Strowman.

This will be the line up at the WWE TLC PPV with Kane as the fifth member. The match is going to be the main event of the Raw-exclusive event on October 22nd. This is going to be a TLC match under No Disqualification rules. We can’t wait to see the Hounds of Justice in such an environment which suit them the best.

Following this PPV, it’s almost sure that The Shield will be a part of the Survivor Series PPV, as well. This is the one particular event where traditional tag team matches are a must. So, we can expect to witness a faction vs faction scenario.

Speaking of this brings us to the dream match between The Shield vs. The Club featuring AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. Previously, on Raw, we have seen a feud between Reigns and Styles where The Club was involved. But, back the other members of the Shield were absent.

So, the upcoming dual brand PPV might be the ideal event to witness this much-anticipated matchup. During a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling, AJ Styles gave a positive nod while asked about this potential match, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
“Absolutely. I think that if Gallows and Anderson and I got together, we would dominate just like we’ve done before. There’s no doubt about it.”

Further comments from The Phenomenal One left the world talking about the match at Survivor Series. Styles also wanted to team up with Shane McMahon at the event, if needed. Check out his comments about the last dual brand PPV of the year,

“I didn’t think about it when I said it, but it certainly could be (at Survivor Series). Shane and I have got a lot of respect for each other especially after WrestleMania, and the guy’s a stud, so you’ve got to respect that about him. I’ve never really liked Kevin Owens, and now that Sami Zayn has joined his crew, it doesn’t make me like Sami Zayn anymore. So you never know, it may happen.”
