AJ Styles has worked continuously ever since debuting in the WWE. He entered the biggest scene through the Royal Rumble match in 2016 and the rest is, as they say, ‘is history’. It will be right to say that this man has filled up the shoes left by John Cena on the WWE programming. Randy Orton also mentioned this fact during his Wrestlemania feud against the 2-time WWE Champion.

WWE Confirms AJ Styles Signed A New Contract
It’s more than right considering that AJ Styles has never been on a vacation in the WWE for the last three years. He works on a constant scheduled just like a workhorse even at his 40-plus age. This proves his dedication towards the company as well as how much-trusted shoulder he has become for them. But that time may be nearby when AJ Styles goes on a hiatus as observed by fans on the internet.
Former WWE Champion AJ Styles may be taking some time off from WWE as per the current advertisements. Starting from this week, the company is not advertising him in any of the shows until a live event show in Singapore on 27th June. This is the time when WWE is heading to the east for some live events. Presence of AJ Styles is a must for the fans out there.
The time-off is yet to be official from WWE or via storyline perspective, yet. But Super Showdown and Stomping Grounds events are still advertising him hinting that he will be working on both the pay-per-view events. WWE has not confirmed any opponents for him on these two shows which still keeps his status uncertain, though.
The Phenomenal One has just been over with a dream match against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank pay-per-view event. He came up short losing an opportunity for the Universal Championship. As mentioned above, WWE has not officially booked him in any storyline which could be an indication of his time-off from WWE programming.
But getting him back for the pay-per-view is the best that WWE can ask for, at this point. At least, they will not miss AJ Styles in the special nights presented by WWE Network. The next PPV Super ShowDown takes place on Friday, June 7th, 2019 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. After that, the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view event will take place on Sunday, June 23 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.
